CoRL 2026 will take place across three venues: the JW Marriott Austin and Hilton Austin in the heart of downtown, and Bass Concert Hall on the University of Texas at Austin campus.
Inspired by Austin’s tradition of multi-venue events such as South by Southwest (SXSW), the conference is designed so that each location serves a different purpose, while coordinated transportation, livestreaming, and conference logistics connect you to a single CoRL experience.
The two downtown hotels are just 0.4 mi apart. A courtesy shuttle will be provided but it is a nice walk if so inclined. Transportation will be provided to Bass Concert Hall and to the evening event at The Long Center for the Performing Arts. A shuttle service will also run on a loop during those activations between the venues and hotels.
Please review the program carefully each day to confirm the location of your sessions and allow additional time when traveling between venues.
JW Marriott - The Social Hub

Located at the corner of Congress Avenue and Second Street, the JW Marriott Austin will serve as the center of conference activity outside the main-stage program, hosting the poster sessions, exhibitions, demos, coffee breaks, and other opportunities to meet and interact with the CoRL community. It will also be home for registration and badge pickup, and will host all of the workshops on November 12.
Its central location places attendees within walking distance of Lady Bird Lake, the Second Street District, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and many of downtown Austin’s best-known attractions. All of the talks at Hilton Austin will be livestreamed and can be viewed from the JW Marriott.
Arriving at the JW Marriott
The main hotel entrance is located on East Second Street between Congress Avenue and Brazos Street. CoRL will take place on Levels 2 and 3 of the hotel, and attendees should follow CoRL signage after entering the hotel.

Hilton Austin - Talks and Plenaries

The Hilton Austin is located in downtown Austin adjacent to the Austin Convention Center and is near many restaurants and live-music entertainment and venues of the Red River and Sixth Street districts. The Hilton will host the main plenary sessions and technical talks on Level 6. Attendees can join sessions live at the Hilton, with additional viewing rooms at both the Hilton and JW Marriott.

Walking Between the JW Marriott and Hilton Austin
The JW Marriott and Hilton Austin are both located within the downtown conference district and are easily accessible on foot. The hotel venues are conveniently located approximately half a mile apart, and the walk typically takes about 10–15 minutes along city sidewalks. Attendees should use marked crosswalks and allow extra time during busy periods or when moving between scheduled sessions. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Arriving at The Long Center
The Long Center is located just south of downtown Austin, across Lady Bird Lake from the conference hotels. Transportation details, including conference shuttle service and designated pickup locations, will be provided closer to the event.
Bass Concert Hall at UT Austin - The CoRL Finale

Bass Concert Hall is located on The University of Texas at Austin campus and will also host the farewell dessert reception on the afternoon of November 11. This venue will also host CoRL’s final keynote, the panel, a surprise interlude, and the awards and closing ceremony.
